Privacy Policy
Bargar Art text messaging · Effective when published · Updated October 29, 2026
This policy covers the text preference form and Bargar Art’s SMS/MMS program. It describes this program specifically; purchases and third-party services have their own policies.
What we collect
When you submit the form, we record your mobile number, selected message purposes, the consent wording and version, time, source page, and a receipt identifier. Unsubscribe requests are recorded too. We do not request a Social Security number, payment details, or an account password.
How we use it
We use these records to manage your preferences, confirm your number, provide the messages you request, and maintain evidence of consent. Marketing is a separate choice from service updates. Marketing is limited to 4 messages per month; service message frequency varies with your inquiries, orders, and appointments. Message and data rates may apply.
Providers and sharing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Service providers process data as needed to host the form, store consent, and deliver or assist with requested communications. These may include Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Twilio for messaging, and OpenAI when our automated assistant handles a conversation. We do not use your consent to enroll you in another company’s marketing.
Basic page analytics
Our browser analytics records page paths and ordinary events such as contact-link clicks. It does not send the mobile number or form selections to the analytics collector. Browser privacy signals such as Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected by that collector.
Your choices and retention
You can withdraw through text preferences or email matt@bargar.art. When messaging is active, reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. We retain preference and consent records while needed to operate the program and demonstrate your choices. Limited opt-out records may be retained to respect your request. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion; we will explain any records that must be retained.
Security and contact
The form uses HTTPS in production. Records are stored in server-side storage rather than a public list. Access is limited to operating the program. No system can promise absolute security. Questions or privacy requests: matt@bargar.art.
